The Traveler Golf Association, Inc. was established in 1974 in Austin, Texas and chartered on April 8, 1988. It is a Christian-focused, non-profit organization whose purpose is to develop and promote fellowship between its members and other golf associations at the city and state level. We provide charitable donations to several local organizations. Recipients include, but are not limited to:
- Sisters Network
- SafePlace
- Austin Y.M.C.A
- Various local churches

Huston-Tillotson University through participation in their golf tournaments
Membership is open to any golfer interested in furthering the goals of the association.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
- Play in no less than three tournaments within the previous season (you must be invited by a member to play).

Be recommended by a member at the annual meeting in January and elected by majority vote.
Annual dues are $50.00.
Uniform consists of:
- Black pants or shorts
- White TGA Polo shirt
